Description
Supporting the Strategy and Development team of a global investment bank
Responsibilities:
- Develop market studies, competitive analysis, benchmarking, gap analysis and best practices
- Define and present to senior management proposals for new business development projects
- Manage steering committees to ensure on-time delivery of projects and strategic development initiatives
- Analyze and refine business strategy, ongoing resource allocation and resource effectiveness assessment
- Plan for a smooth strategy implementation by jointly planning the execution phase with the Product Development team.
Requirements:
- MBA from top tier institution with 5-7 years overall experience
- 2-3 years relevant financial services industry experience in Strategy Development
- Must have 2-3 years post MBA experience within top tier consulting firm (Bain, McKinsey, Boston Consulting, Booz), ideally within a non-M&A financial services practice area
- General understanding of financial services and capital markets is a must
- Leadership of strategy and decision-making, and team cross-functionally (marketing, sales, product and operations)
