Interfaces with Field Application Engineers (FAE's), Customer Service Representatives (CSR's), and field sales offices as well as semiconductor wafer fabs and package manufacturing to develop new products and bring qualified new products to market in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Team with FAE's, CSR's and field offices to define new products and their specifications. Team closely with wafer source and packaging manufacturing on samples requests, new product development and releases, provide technical data sheets with complete specification of parameters. Ensure new product meets QA and yield standards and that specifications are set appropriately.

- Understand the market and product position as compared with competitors; perform competitive benchmark and analysis on new products. Team with characterization staff for complete new product characterization and benchmarks.

- Support manufacturing division's mass production ramp up activities, such as recommendations for test equipment for mass production, requalifications for yield improvement, etc.

- Support FAE's, CSR's and field sales offices on product related issues to maximize sales.

- Be able to perform characterization and testing of your product at the Engineering Lab.

- Constantly seek next generation new product ideas and opportunities. Provide feedback on the market and product trend information to manufacturing divisions for next generation new product development.

- Complete new product business analyses (NPBA) by collecting cost, yield and market price information. Calculate return on investment (ROI), gross profit margin (GPM) and margin dollars.

- Other duties as assigned.
