Note – Candidates need to have proven coding, web development and router experience. Must be able to code in PERL, develop web pages, etc. Please be sure to have prior accomplishments documented on the resume.

Job Description:

The candidate will work on the team responsible for authoring and maintaining the scripting framework of network automation efforts for the DSL NRC organization. The candidate will interface with NRC teams, ATS, AT&T Labs, and NRC leadership. Primary job responsibility is the scripting of support functions related to network events impacting customer service in the various Layer 2 & 3 networks. Additional functions include supporting various teams via automation of network-wide sanity checks, fulfillment of automation enhancement requests, and acting as a subject matter expert on Linux/Unix platforms, Perl and ILOG JRules. Must have hands on experience in scripting and technical problem solving. The individual must be self driven, but also able to work as a part of a diverse team with many different responsibilities.
