Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree

Provides overall leadership ad management of a designated patient care unit which promotes quality nursing care, effective and efficient use of human and material resources, and professional growth and job satisfaction for unit personnel.  This position carries 24 hour responsibility and accountability.

BSN is required, master's degree is preferred. Current active Georgia licensure is required. Applicants to this position must have a minimum of seven years experience as a registered nurse in the NICU setting. A minimum of three years experience as charge or supervisory RN is required.

Description of the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years RN experience in a Level III NICU. Prior management experience is preferred, but willing to consider candidates with experience as charge nurse who can demonstrate success with leadership opportunities that have been provided.
