DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENTS:
REQ 1: ETL Developer – Business Intelligence
Client is seeking a ETL developer to maintain and enhance systems for creating, converting, securing and managing data flow into the data warehouse system.
Specific responsibilities include:
Architecture, design, development, and implementation data warehouse projects.
Support testing, deployment and ongoing support of data warehouse system.
Work with Reporting team to build marts and tables to optimize reporting performance
Develop & Support ETL process
Requirements:
6+ years experience in Data warehouse development.
Minimum 3 years of ETL and SQL server experience, real world experience with SSIS
Candidate should be fully proficient in writing scalable, high volume ETL jobs using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for large volume data warehouses
Knowledge of Data Warehousing such as dimensional modeling, Star and Snowflake schemas, Data mart and Fact, Dimension tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions -Type I & II & III.
Knowledge of T-SQL
Troubleshoot and resolve data, system issues and performance issues.
Knowledge of .NET and other languages (VB.NET, C#) desirable.
Ability to analyze and resolve performance issue with database code involving SSIS and MS SQL server.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex technologies
BA/BS, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Must be a self-starter and willing to take initiative and work with little supervision
Should be ready for for 24 * 7 On Call responsibility

Client is seeking a ETL developer to maintain and enhance systems for creating, converting, securing and managing data flow into the data warehouse system.

Architecture, design, development, and implementation data warehouse ETL projects.
Support testing, deployment and ongoing support of data warehouse system.
Work with Reporting team to build marts and tables to optimize reporting performance

Candidate should be fully proficient in writing scalable, high volume ETL jobs using PL/SQL and Perl for large volume data warehouses
Knowledge of Data Warehousing such as dimensional modeling, Star and Snowflake schemas, Data mart and Fact, Dimension tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions -Type I & II & III.
In depth Knowledge of PL-SQL for Oracle version 10.0 and above
