The Construction Estimator joins a well established company with an impressive client list . The Construction Estimator is responsible to provide and or coordinate full estimating services on large, complex heavy mechanical and electrical construction projects
* Preparation of project estimates to ensure all factors are properly considered, priced, and included in the estimate summary.
* Performing site visits and investigations.
* Job cost projections and audits.
* Constructability studies.
* Research services for methods, costs and construction techniques.

Qualifications: Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree, Engineering, Industrial, Mechanical, Civil or Construction Management
- Quantity surveying qualification.
- 12 years in estimating experience in an industrial environment (pipes/valves/insulation material) for gas installations / wastewater treatment works / process facilities, civil engineering such as highways/bridges/hydroelectric plants for bid-build and design-build projects
- Minimum 8 years specific estimating experience for an mechanical insulation, civil, transportation related, industrial plant construction company's as an industrial estimator.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent Skills in reading plans and take off quanities
- Understanding of general conditions of contract.
- Ability to estimate costs meet deadlines and put in the time required including occasional overtime & weekends to get the job done
- Scheduling of labor, materials and equipment.
