Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities:
-Responsible for daily and month end general accounting.
-Handle accounting procedures, processes and controls related to accounting issues.
-Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable.
-Handle co-location reporting.
-Handle regulatory filings: FOCUS, FSA, etc.
-Understand Fixed Assets, including monthly depreciation entries.
-Maintain/verify supporting documentation for various compensation plans.
-Do automation of routine tasks
-Execute month end closing and reporting procedures
-Ensure proper accrual processes are streamlined and in place to ensure a timely and accurate monthly closing.
-Assist with audit co-ordination.
-Assist with compiling annual financial statements for annual audit.

Mandatory Qualifications:
-4+ years of accounting experience.
-4+ years of experience with daily and month end general accounting.
-4+ years of experience managing accounting procedures, processes and controls related to accounting issues including the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
-CPA
-Knowledge of USGAAP and IFRS accounting treatment for new accounting standards.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
-Proficiency in SQL
-Experience in an International organization.
-Experience in a financial services organization.
-Knowledge of tax reporting
-Securities regulatory reporting – Series 27 certification a plus
-Microsoft Dynamics SL a plus
